A local Minerals company contacted RB Eng for help when acid erosion had damaged a kiln wet scrubber system. A large engineering company from Avonmouth who were the original suppliers quoted 4 days to complete the repair task. To carry out the repair would have involved stopping the site’s entire production resulting in 10s of Thousands of pounds lost revenue.
RB measured up the job and obtained the specialist materials to complete the repair, and carried out the work in one working shift. The team left the site clean and tidy and carried out the work in safety, no corners were cut and 3.5 days production were saved.
